To continue providing our students a unique and well-rounded clinical experience, the UMSD Community Outreach program has developed a secure, robust intranet database designed to capture vital curricular and program information.
Participating students can update their procedure reports at any time, on-campus or off. Additionally, they can fill out faculty and clinic evaluations, and submit their post-rotation survey.
Faculty can track students' academic progress and make curricular adjustments on an individual basis so that clinical strengths and weaknesses are adequately addressed. Program staff monitor evaluation and survey data to continuously assess the program's value and effectiveness, address opportunities for improvement, and ensure that the program continues to fulfill its mission.
The Community Outreach database is accessible only by participating students, faculty and staff. Information entered is confidential and used only for academic and program management purposes.
