Before your dental care is started, an estimate of the cost will be provided. The patient's contribution in time to the educational program is appreciated, and the fee schedule for services has been adjusted downward accordingly. The dental clinics operate on a fee-for-service basis, payable at each visit. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card.
If you have dental insurance, we will submit claims for completed services to your carrier. However, you will be responsible for paying any balance your insurance does not cover. Your co-payment will be required when service is provided.
For dental services requiring lab work, pre-payment for 50% of the total treatment cost is required.
The School of Dentistry's Patient Business Office handles all insurance, patient billing and extended dental care arrangements, and is located on the first floor of the dental building in room 1327.
