Dr. Kim completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Toronto in 1989. She then enrolled in the DMD program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1994. She then came to the University of Michigan and completed a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in 1997.

Dr. Kim presently has a practice limited to Orthodontics in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She also teaches in the Undergraduate Orthodontic Program.
