Dr. Berkowitz maintains a private orthodontic practice in Columbus, Ohio. In addition, he is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthodontics at The Ohio State University and also has faculty appointments in the orthodontic departments of the University of Michigan and Temple University. He has been involved actively in treatment efficiency, the management of the contemporary practice, and practice control systems over the last 25 years. He has made numerous presentations on these topics.

Dr. Berkowitz is a graduate of Case Western University College of Dentistry (1973) ans Master's Graduate program in Orthodontics (1975). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
